Being a Business Developer at Semactic means :


As Business Developer for the Belgium NL market, you will play a key role in Semactic's expansion in Flanders. Your main task will be to develop our customer portfolio by identifying, prospecting and concluding strategic partnerships with Dutch-speaking companies.

Your key responsabilities:


Sales development and prospecting

  • Identify and target strategic companies in the Dutch-speaking Belgian market (Flanders and Brussels).
  • Actively prospect via LinkedIn, emails, telephone calls and networking.
  • Generate and qualify leads to feed the sales pipeline.

Managing the sales cycle:

  • Conducting customer meetings (in person or by videoconference) to understand their needs and present Semactic solutions to them
  • Demonstrate the Semactic platform to illustrate its benefits and convince prospects.
  • Negotiating and finalising contracts, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Working with the marketing team to adapt messages and communications to the Dutch-speaking market.

Customer relations and portfolio growth:

  • Ensure rigorous follow-up of acquired customers to maximise their commitment and satisfaction.
  • Identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities to accelerate sales growth.
  • Build customer loyalty and solid long-term relationships.

Monitoring and reporting:

  • Monitoring and analysing sales performance.
  • Updating the CRM with all commercial interactions and opportunities.
  • Sharing strategic insights on trends in the Dutch-speaking market in order to refine the sales strategy.

Profile required:

We're looking for a passionate, autonomous and results-oriented Business Developer with the ability to develop strategic relationships and close sales.

Your skills and experience:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in business development or B2B sales, ideally in digital, SaaS or marketing.
  • Languages: Fluent Dutch essential. Good command of English, French a plus.
  • Tools: Familiarity with CRM tools and prospecting techniques.
  • Commercial skills: Good interpersonal skills, ability to convince and close deals.
  • Organisation and autonomy: Ability to manage several opportunities in parallel and to organise your work efficiently.
  • Team spirit: You enjoy collaborating with others to achieve common goals.
